Community Outreach and Partnerships
Preparing students to become creative problem solvers in a highly diverse and globalized workforce requires exposure to a variety of social, economic, educational, environmental and health disparities. We encourage the creation of robust community partnerships that inspire creative shifts in the traditional boundaries of higher education and lifelong learning.
The Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is proud to work closely with external partners locally and globally to bring vibrant and meaningful programming to the ArtCenter community.
We engage alumni in a variety of events, workshops, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
We aim to create authentic, long-lasting relationships with community members and organizations that serve historically underrepresented youth and adults in Pasadena, greater Los Angeles and the globe.
To develop new pathways for historically underserved and underrepresented communities to access learning, collaborative programming and mutual understanding, The Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offers joint programming, outreach, and events in partnership with ArtCenter departments, student clubs/organizations, diverse school districts, corporations, community groups, municipalities, professional organizations and associations.
