Community Engagement

A tree is only as strong as its roots and ArtCenter College of Design is lucky enough to be rooted in one of the most inspiring community of artists, designers and creatives in the world.

Our department goal is to make authentic and long-lasting relationships with community members and organizations that serve historically underrepresented youth and adults in Pasadena, greater Los Angeles and the globe.

By working closely with Designmatters, an NGO at ArtCenter with a focus on design for social innovation, we root, inform and supplement the creative work being done by our students, staff, faculty and alumni.
