The Center for DEI is dedicated to equitable business practices and the economic empowerment of historically underserved or marginalized communities. DEI frequently patronizes and partners with minority-owned, women owned, veteran owned, LGBTQIA+ owned and historically underutilized businesses.

Business and Campus Services is expanding on its practices in supplier diversity by conducting a review of its current vendors to determine ArtCenter’s baseline activity in this area. A comprehensive supplier diversity plan and policies will be developed and include diverse vendor outreach and online professional development modules for employees responsible for purchasing and initiating major business contracts. After an internal review, a new supplier plan and policies will be announced in Spring 2020.
